1. General Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital marketing, consulting, and creative services—where time, intellectual property, and strategic planning are expended immediately upon project commencement—all payments, retainers, setup fees, and strategy deposits are strictly non-refundable, except where explicitly stated under local statutory consumer protection laws (such as mandatory cooling-off periods in specific jurisdictions like the UK, EU, or consumer-tier agreements in Australia and Canada).
2. Monthly Retainer Services & Cancellation
For ongoing digital marketing services (e.g., SEO, Social Media Management, Paid Ads/PPC Retainers):
- Notice Period: Either party may terminate an ongoing monthly retainer agreement by providing at least 30 days’ written notice (unless otherwise specified in your Master Services Agreement).
- Billing During Notice Period: The client is responsible for all retainer fees covering the active 30-day notice period. Work, optimization, and campaign management will continue actively during this window.
- Unused Hours or Services: Monthly retainers do not roll over. If a client fails to utilize allocated monthly hours or deliverables, those hours expire at the end of the billing cycle, and no partial refunds or credits will be issued.
3. Project-Based & One-Time Services
For fixed-scope projects (e.g., website design, brand identity packages, technical SEO audits, or one-off campaign setups):
- Deposit Stage: Projects commence only upon receipt of an initial non-refundable deposit (typically 50%). If a client cancels the project before work begins, the deposit acts as a booking and initial planning fee and will not be refunded.
- Mid-Project Cancellation: If a project is cancelled or suspended by the client partway through execution, the client is billed for all hours logged and milestones completed up to the date of written cancellation, plus any non-recoverable third-party costs incurred.
4. Third-Party Costs & Advertising Media Spend
- Media Budgets: Any funds provided by the client for paid advertising spend (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads) are paid directly to the respective ad platforms or held in dedicated accounts. Mindsnoop Marketing does not issue refunds for unspent or spent ad budgets managed through client-owned or agency-managed ad accounts.
- Third-Party Software/Tools: Licensing fees, premium plugins, stock assets, or third-party software subscriptions purchased on behalf of the client are strictly non-refundable.
5. International Consumer Protections & Statutory Rights
If you are contracting with us as a consumer (rather than a business entity) and reside in a jurisdiction with mandatory statutory cancellation rights (such as a 14-day cooling-off period under UK/EU consumer protection laws, or local consumer laws in Australia, Canada, or Singapore):
- You may be entitled to cancel your purchase within the legally mandated timeframe.
- However, if you explicitly requested that we begin performance of the services before the cooling-off period expired, you acknowledge that you waive your right to a full refund for any work, strategy, or labor already executed up to the point of cancellation.
6. Dispute Resolution & Chargebacks
